Las Muertes Pasajeras

At the end of an ordinary day, Felipe is overwhelmed by his fear of fatherhood. Without warning, he leaves his pregnant partner, who is about to give birth, and embarks on a journey through his fantasies.

Felipe and Manuela are becoming parents for the first time. They feel strange, everything is new and they are unsure about everything. Felipe, gripped by fear, leaves his home and hides in a shared flat about thirty kilometres from the capital, embarking on a journey into his fantasies and fears. In several stories set in different times, Felipe encounters an imaginary family, his real family and the memory of Manuela. The characters in each story resemble ghosts, as the birth of his son draws ever closer. LAS MUERTES PASAJERAS is a portrait of confusion, an irrational look at the fear of becoming a father.
